Legal evidence of authenticity
To establish legal evidence of authenticity, The Original Banksy, in his real name, has lodged an affidavit with a solicitor, confirming that he originally created, Hope, Red, Syd, Ka-Ching, Alien Tag, Rap Dude and Homeless Paddington on walls in Bristol and Glastonbury and, therefore, under English Law owns the Copyright for these pieces.
He further confirms that he has given legal administration responsibility to TOB The First UK Ltd, who have full responsibility for administering the use of the trademarks for these pieces, which are currently being applied for, and for the sale and administration of his new pieces.
The solicitor has issued us a signed statement, confirming our appointment, which is locked away at the company’s bank in a safe deposit box.
The statement confirms the existence and content of that affidavit, other than details of The Original Banksy’s identity, so authorising our right to exhibit and authenticate his artwork.
